You see a lot of strange stuff on television late when you stay up late at night.
Those J.G. Wentworth commercials I just recently found out are seen nationwide, I thought it was strange because the production quality was so low that it had to be local.

But Mark Norton and his furniture store isn’t the focus of this article, it’s the gorgeous TV preacher who I constantly see when I channel surf late at night.

Pastor Melissa Scott preaches in a Canadian sounding accent in front of a white board covered in insane looking scribblings on late night TV, her webcast, and I wouldn’t doubt she’s probably on at a decent hour on other channels on Sundays.
After looking at her for a split second, I realized that she’s too hott to be a TV preacher–I knew there had to be something behind the scenes…. I expected to find naked pictures of some hot chick, what I found was a bona fide internet conspiracy.
There once was a man named Dr. Eugene (Gene) Scott, who had a preaching television show where he would… you guessed it.. scribble on a white board during his sermons. His sermons are described as being surreal, with random stock footage of things like horseback-riding slipped in. He frequently smoked cigars, used profanity, and was completely open with telling his viewers that they can simply buy their way into heaven. In 2000, he married a 32 year old woman named “Melissa Pastore” when he was 70 years old. He died five years later, leaving her millions in assets.
The Internet describes his widow as being far more complex than himself.
According to a post on a thread on debatebothsides.com that was re-posted on tboforums.com:
Melissa Pastore (AKA Barbi/Barbie Bridges was involved in a ton of legal battles with her ex-husband Paul Pastore, the most notable concerning their porn business – “Barbie Bridges Entertainment” and a certain hardcore video was named in a suit called “Picture Perfect Seduction” in which she starred. If that’s not enough, there is some speculation that Melissa Pastore (who’s maiden name is Melissa Peroff), is noted gangster Frank Peroff’s daughter, citing his name on her legal documents, her supposed birthdate, and location of residence.
If all this is true, it’s no surprise that the legal action Melissa took early in the nineties is what is making finding the porno pictures of her so hard to find.
A strange constant theme is talk of her getting things that she finds objectionable pulled from the Internet, regardless if they’re pornographic or not.

In case the video gets the axe, it describes Pastor Melissa Scott “purging” the Internet of websites and other YouTube videos projecting her in a negative light… which I think would be damn near impossible.
BUT this coincides with a lot of websites (referring to both Barbi Bridges and Melissa Scott) that no longer exist even though they’re listed in a yahoo search.
Barbie Bridges is listed in one of my references as being “Miss Nude Can-Am Exotic, out of Tornoto, Canada, in 1994″, I cannot find a pageant by that name. Upon reading into those pageants, I found that there is a 1996 Miss Nude Can-Am Exotic Pageant, but to me, it looks as if it were some sort of one-time exhibition thing (also note that I cannot find a “Barbie/Barbi Bridges” in attendance in any Canadian pageant by the organization in 1994 or 1996).
I did find a link to a German looking site that has pictures of a “Barbi Bridges” that looks similar to her, (circuitbomb helped) but of course, no video. The similarities to her are striking, but it could be argued that the girl in the photos is not Melissa Scott. The photos are tagged with “c. 2000 Suze Randall”, who is a well-known photographer, well-rooted in the pornography industry.
What rubs me the wrong way is that the tags look like they’ve been added with MSPaint, something a photographer of her caliber wouldn’t do. Also, since Melissa Pastore was co-owner of a porno production company, why would she outsource the job? AND why would she have to pose for money when she was seeing a well-off famous televangelist? Why would someone fake a source photographer? Who knows. My gut tells me that this could very well be a hot-ass imposter.
In conclusion:
All I could really find was thread postings about her, which although numerous, just seem to cite each other and no real evidence exists on the web connecting Barbi Bridges and Melissa Scott other than word-of-mouth.
It’s a very complex story, but it would take a story like this to discredit her. Motive to fabricate a story like this? To get some dirt on another money-grubbing TV preacher I guess.
No real actual factual porno can be found that is without a doubt Melissa Scott.
I could not find any records of a Barbie Bridges porn star or movie titled “Picture Perfect Seduction” other than what was mentioned in the threads. I did find a porno movie called “Picture Perfect”, but it’s fairly new and doesn’t star Barbie Bridges.
An obscure porn star with an obscure porn movie from the mid-nineties which has been suppressed by a lawsuit would be damn near impossible to find, but take into consideration that I have searched the web, searched for files with eMule and every Torrent search site out there…it’s no where to be found.
My verdict, either it’s all a complete urban legend that snowballed out of controlled and believed as complete fact, or she spent an unfathomable amount of time and money suppressing every shred of evidence in the digital world.
She probably wasn’t a porn star and a rumor was fabricated around just enough things that really exist to make it seem like actual fact. It’s just too damn inconclusive.

Just because there isn’t enough evidence to completely point to “guilty”, it doesn’t mean that the choice is clear.

The digital world is not the be-all-end-all source of evidence and discussion. Court records could exist solely on paper and subject to all sorts of restrictions less fathomable in the digital world. Video might not have been digitized (yet). The world of porn (both digital and non-digital) is so vast that, much like computer networks, only a fraction are covered by even the most popular portals and databases let alone seen by many who actively search for a particular fetish, actor/actress, movie/video, production company et al.
An example on full and proper research of digital v paper source would be that of genealogy. True, there are many sources of digital record to investigate and source in regards to creating a valid genealogy of a person, most of the material for construct still resides in non-digitized databases (both public and private) which take active personal investigation of physical media (birth and death records, immigration rolls, passenger rolls…)
Time and energy of individuals and digital communities are the tools that bring our pre-digital world in-synch with this one. Perhaps there are only a few surviving tapes and are yet to be realized to this new form.

well thats an interesting comment, ive done things in my life, sure i have, but ive never been a whore or a porn star and then go on to preach. Plus I dont need to go on to preach to anyone about my mistakes and the things ive done, people make their own choices regardless of what anyone else in the universe thinks, not one human is without sin? sure thats true, but why does she hide behind religious zeal? I also found this gal pretty easy on the eyes. I caught her on one of the upper channels one night and figured I’d look her up. A quick Google search turned up this. To my surprise…a porn star?
Well, sorry folks, I’m not a hardcore believer (far from it), so I have no horse in this race, but I did see the german pictures and that’s not her. It’s a close resemblance, but if you look very very closely at her nose, you’ll spot it, it’s not her. Look at profile shots to see for yourself. Unless she’s had a nose-job (not impossible, but I doubt it) Melissa Scott isn’t the girl I saw in the german link.
So then the real question is, why all this hateful spiteful stuff on the web then? It’s pretty simple to me, if the old man did in fact marry this youngster (and I saw somewhere he dumped his wife for her…makes it even worse), then I’m sure that there’s a bunch of scorned people that didn’t get a big chunk of his money when he dies and they’re taking it out on her.
Then there’s the people on this newsgroup I found that are blasting her left and right. Shouting her down for not doing any actual scribbling and saying her logic is totally bogus. But I have to say…so what? I mean, think about it, if these people are devoted god-nicks, what on earth do they care if someone is preaching god. If they don’t like her church they can go somewhere else. But why on earth tear someone apart like that? It makes no sense unless they have some personal vendetta against her.
I suspect, the reason you are seeing these postings being pulled from the net, is because they are completely BS and part of a viscious and spiteful hate campaign and youtube and other “reputable” websites are pulling them on their own. Maybe even at the churches request, but hey, just imagine someone posting crap like that about you…wouldn’t you complain to the website and ask them to yank it? I know I would.

I am fascinated by this young woman although I don’t agree with everyting she says. Obviously she spends an incredible amount of TIME studying the Word – and I can’t imagine her taking that very demanding route just to use the Church as a front for anything (as I’ve read that she is doing.) Surely there is an easier way. As for her past – only a bona fide Christian can understand the POWER of God and His transforming grace. I, for one, will not “touch God’s annointed” and I believe it truly IS God who is using Pastor Scott for His own purpose. There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed – God is not mocked – perhaps those of us who are watching Pastor Scott are the ones who are being judged by God.

Last question…what is your biblical basis for criticism of Pastor Melissa Scott? Let me ask the exact same question another way (same question)…what scripture can you find that states that Pastor Melissa Scott should not be preaching Word nor advocating Jesus Christ as the savior for the world all the while being biblically sound with a clarity that has yet to be disproved?
So now I disbelieve in the Bible? Hrm, ok, well if you must know, if the Bible an all important staple in Judaism and Christendom and is so factual, that nothing in it is an exaggeration or fiction, then why o’ why are segments of the Bible canonized and others apocrypha? Why is there so much missing, why was there so much not included in it? Why were some parts set aside for public reading while others were meant for private study?
Perhaps you should read my previous comments to this post a bit more carefully, where did I say that she never asked for forgiveness? Where in this post did I say that God should not forgive her? And where did I say that Pastor Scott should NOT be preaching or spreading the word of god rather than her legs? Where did I say she should be spreading her legs instead?

What makes a difference is whether or not she owns stock in barbiebridgesvod.org . If she has any ties to Barbie Bridges enterprises. If not, so what if she use to be Barbie Bridges. If so, well nothing good could be said about that or what she might call her new life. I use to watch the Pastor Scott on tv over a year ago before I went threw, (I can live without tv for a year). Picked up where I left off and noticed a couple of changes in the ministry. She no longer wears her wedding ring. She has dyed the gray out of her hair. Everyone who calls in gets assigned a number. People are clapping for what appears to be little or no reason, for her and not the message. There seems to be a lot of calling for money that wasn’t there before, just the occasional. The service message is like putting a piece of puzzle together, when you finally get it your left with a sense of accomplishment. What is being said could be said in a short paragraph without going threw an intellectual puzzle.Do like the puzzle though. Still I can find little fault in her words. She did state that the reason she gives no altar call is because that people don’t go there to be save but to learn and your suppose to give them money like you would a college. That’s kinda off the mark, don’t ya know. It still boils down to a simple fact. If she has any ties to the name or enterprises with the name Barbie Bridges she is not who she makes herself out to be.

It was just brought to my attention researched and discovered that this so-called Pastor and reformed porn star has been recently dating none other than a porn star. This adulteress jezebel has been seeing a a man who has been up on yahoo groups since 2006 in the category of porn star with 100 links to all manner of abominable porn, home videos, B Productions, you name it. When confronted recently with the knowledge of this, he took the site down.
The Harlot Melissa went so far as to brag about her conquest on television by winking to those in the know while she sang “he touched me, oh, he touched me.” If you watch her streaming live video you’ll see it for yourself. She has even confessed it in her sermon God’s Promises that can be found by clicking into the illustration of her on google images with this sermon title.
The scariest thing of all is that the entire Trinity Broadcast Network knows about this as Melissa has been pandering to their lusts (pride of life, lust of the eyes) with her God awful pictures on Glamour Fantasy and bragging about her conquest. They have been extolling this intrigue, adultery and harlotry as they have personal connection and association with this male model/porn star who is knowingly caught up in all manner of filth. It has been brought to their attention over and over and they defiantly refuse to condemn this behavior because he is one of their own now. What has the kingdom come to that such high standing people of God would resort to this and allow this to run rampant in the kingdom unchecked. They have no business preaching the word pretending to be with God, standing on the side of the evil one.
She also refers to the matter in her recent messages, this week of 2/07/09 by saying she is troubled about what may be coming because she slipped back into the flesh (by having an affair with a married porn star/playgirl model who has a film entitled Hunks in Hedonism.) Good looking guy but a complete unsaved dufus. Duh! What was she thinking? Her thoughts must have been someplace else.
My question is…if she is a reformed porn star and now pastor since 2000, who made the videos on BarbiBridgesvod.com that are in the name of Barbie Bridges Entertainment in 2003. If these are not hers they clearly represent the littany of porn she produced with her first husband, including ones with teenagers.
To fall back into this type of behavior is absolutely absurd? She must have taken a look at the heathen, couldn’t resist his loins and jumped right on it. Not surprising since she was also a paid pony girl for her husband Eugene Scott back in the day that led to their divorces and her subsequent taking over of his evil empire.

Well… I’m an athiest, and I watch her programe because I read greek, and it’s great practice. If she ever WAS a porn star, she certainly was a smart one. She is fluent in something like 20 languages… and she shows it frequently on her broadcast. Porn star or not, she’s very smart- ESPECIALLY if she was able to “erase all traces” of any pronogrophy she participated in… I mean, that’s damn near impossible. SO… in conclusion, I think the porn star claim was probably born from some horny christian teenager. Whether she’s a porn star or a paster, she’s a hell of a business woman, no one has to give her money that doesn’t choose to do so on their own.

Wow, I can not believe what I am hearing! Anyone that has posted a negative message about Pastor Scott must not have taken the time to watch her teach. If they did watch, they must have already had their mind made up about her. My father has been a member since 1988, learning from Gene Scott. He tried for many years to get me to listen. I do not attend church regularly, I do believe and do pray occasionally. After Mr. Scott died, I took my dads advice and watch Melissa Scott one day. She was the most intriguing, intelligent women that I have heard speak in all my life. She GETS the message that she is suppose to deliver to us. We have to be willing to listen, with open minds and hearts and accept what she is here for. She is sincere-you can see it in her spirit while she is trying desperately to reach each and every person that is tuned in. As for this porn thing…..WHO CARES…. I remember Dr. Eugene (Gene) Scott, her deceased husband. Most bizarre televangelist I ever tripped upon.
I remember he was sloshed in highly ornamental, gaudy chair on a stage as he babbled incoherently on the egyptian pyramids as he scratched off lottery tickets from a roll of thousands. The man was completely demented.

Ah, Google. I just tried to contact her site after thumbing around and seeing her on TV. She just said the disciples were “eating corn”. If that were the only error in her teaching I wouldn’t have bothered turning this computer on. If she ever sheds that mountain of pride and learns some true humility then, just maybe, she may find some Truth. As it stands, she misleads herself and others. With a name like that you would think it would be negative… and, yet, it wasn’t. Still, if she has a spot on a late night cable infomercial, you just know she must be full of it.
So I did a ‘WHOIS’ search on both domains (PASTORMELISSASCOTT.COM and TURTHABOUTPASTORMELISSASCOTT.COM). Not surprisingly they are registered to the same person.
Obviously, the charlatans behind THE FORMER website realized that the word ‘Criticism’ would get thrown in with ‘Pastor Melissa Scott’ from time to time, so they registered a domain, and tweaked it to rank #1 on google for that search criteria (‘PASTOR MELISSA SCOTT CRITICISM’)

Have you ever heard about the water4gas scam? Basically, it is some BS they sell you whereby you put a cup of water with some wires under the hood of your car, connect it to you engine’s alternator, which will supply electricity, to hydrolyze (split) the water (h20), to produce free hydrogen (h2), to give you free energy and increase your MPG.
This is a scientific impossibility. You alternator getS its energy from the gas you put in the engine. You can’t just skim some of that energy off, use it to hydrolyze water, and get more energy from that process than it took to split the water.
That’s like perpetual motion. Why would we need power plants and solar panels if we can just harness the energy of perpetual motion?

Like a few readers have commented, “who cares?” It is doubtful that Melissa Scott is such a studied and scholarly minister of God and also lives a double life as a porn queen.
Is the obvious being overlooked. I don’t see anything in anyone’s comments that would indicate that if this past of hers was true she merely accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior and the rest is behind her.
Her so called “scribblings” are very accurate and no more than an academic approach at the gospel. Watching her is more like being in a seminary lecture setting. Perhaps her detractors are just used to
preachers who filled time with metaphors and life situations under a sermon theme and can’t handle the depth of her messages.
There is no doubt that she is lovely and that can be distracting but I could not say that she is taunting me especially in the very concealing cleric dress she wears.
I find her fresh and substantive and have not witnessed her hawking for money like so many others. She doesn’t insult my intelligence like the healing fakers or televangelists who try to present themselves as talk show hosts, constantly selling someone’s books and CDs, as well as their own.

Many people have heard the story about Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, but most people do not know that Lazarus’ sister had been a prostitute, before she got saved. Jesus saved Mary and she became one of His closest friends. There are many such true stories of women who were sinners in the Bible that got saved and lived for the Lord. Rahab in the Old Testament was a harlot, but she became a believer. She is an ancestor of Jesus. Her name is also recorded in the Hall of Fame of Faith Hebrews ll:31 “By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe…”
Pastor Melissa Scott is the “Real Deal,” a brilliant and well-studied messenger of Christ. If one has any spiritual discernment, they can clearly sense the anointing God has placed upon her. Paul persecuted Christians. He even had them executed, but he later became one of the most prolific apostles of Jesus Christ. Pastor Scott’s past is totally irrevelant. I thank God for where she is NOW. Those who fail to listen and learn from her vast teaching skills are experiencing a loss, the depth of which they will never know.

A number of Gene’s ex-parishoners were blogging regularly about Melissa in 2005, 6 and 7. I was so taken with her (as in “strangely attracted,” if you catch my drift) that I did some digging and found all the stuff mentioned here, including the pix of someone who decidely looked like her with ten to fifteen year’s less mileage on her.
I had a friend at the time in The Life who saw her photo online and immediately told me, “I knew her in Vegas in the early ’90s…” and went on at length, having no other input from me than, “Who is this?” Melissa, it seems, was an extremely clever and enterprising young woman with very solid “street smarts,” according my enterprising and street-smart friend.
